Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use our website and book massage therapy services with Healing Touch Spa.

Last updated: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Healing Touch Spa website (the “Site”) and the massage therapy services we provide at 12600 Heart Lake Road, Caledon, Ontario. By using the Site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book a service.

1. Services

Healing Touch Spa offers massage therapy and related wellness services provided by Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Treatment is provided based on your stated health history and the therapist’s clinical judgment. Our services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or care from a physician.

2. Booking and Cancellation

  • Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or by email. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from us or our booking platform.
  • We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee of up to the full price of the booked service.
  • Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session at the originally scheduled rate.

3. Health Information and Consent

You agree to provide accurate and complete health information, including conditions, medications, allergies, injuries, and pregnancy status, so that treatment can be delivered safely. You may withdraw consent for any part of treatment at any time. You understand that, in rare cases, massage therapy can cause temporary soreness, bruising, or other reactions.

4. Payments, Pricing, and Taxes

  • All prices listed on the Site are in Canadian dollars and include applicable HST.
  • Payment is due at the time of service. We accept e-transfer (preferred), debit, Visa, MasterCard, and cash.
  • Direct billing to insurers is offered where available. You are ultimately responsible for any amounts not paid by your insurer.
  • Prices and service offerings may change at any time without prior notice; the prices displayed at the time of booking apply to that appointment.

5. Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. They must be presented at the time of service. Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced.

6. Client Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, professional, and respectful environment for clients and staff. Any inappropriate, threatening, harassing, or solicitous behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session, with full payment owed, and may result in refusal of future service. Therapists may also end a session at their discretion if they believe treatment is unsafe.

7. Use of the Website

The content on the Site is provided for general information only and does not constitute medical, legal, or professional advice. You agree not to use the Site in a way that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, or interferes with its operation or security.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Healing Touch Spa or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to third-party platforms such as our online booking provider or social media pages. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Healing Touch Spa and its staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable Ontario law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for negligence causing personal injury or for any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
