Client health records are retained for at least ten (10) years from the date of the last entry, or ten (10) years past the age of majority for minors, in accordance with CMTO record-keeping requirements. After that period, records are securely destroyed or anonymized.

We protect personal information through physical, administrative, and technical safeguards, including locked storage for paper files, access controls and encryption for electronic records, and staff training on confidentiality. Despite these measures, no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
